Good w/other dogs

The jury is still out on cats

Good w/children, however Cash is too rambunctious and has a lot of puppy in him.

According to his previous family he thinks he’s the boss!  I have yet to see that side of him, but to be fair I leave no doubt that I’m the alpha.

This precious boy came to us from upstate New York via Fawn Vanderpool through social media. She was friends with Cashs’ original guardians. When she heard that Cash was in need of a new home she immediately reached out to Sanctuary. After some brief communication we decided that Cash would travel south into rescue. A transport was set within days thanks to Michelle Zdybicli whom worked expeditiously to get Cash to Virginia.

After a 13 hour journey Cash was in much need of debriefing.

For the first two days, Cash did nothing but enjoy all the loving mama at Sanctuary was giving him. He even snuggled with mama in a huge comfy bed!  Then the time came for Cash to meet the house furry residents. We did proper introductions one at a time. After 4 house dogs, 2 rescue residents and a cat Cash was spent.  Starting day 3 Cash was integrated into the Awesome Foursome family and spent a great deal of time in the K-9 den. Because he has lots of puppy in him his play time consisted of 10 mins per dog on a leash 4 times a day.

Cash loves toys but mostly the squeaky plush kind. In the week he’s been with us we’ve been working on leash manners, house manners and proper communication. Cash has come a long way in just a week!
